Join local South Phoenix award winning artist Teena Maree for a hands-on Día de los Muertos–inspired workshop at The Farm at South Mountain. In this class, you’ll design and build a vibrant sugar-skull on wood using colorful papers, mixed media, and symbolic embellishments to honor loved ones. Participants may also choose to incorporate a small sealed ash vial and name into their piece, to add their loved ones ashes, creating a deeply personal memorial artwork. To locate the Botanica Patio, enter The Farm from 32nd St and follow the lane all the way to the end. Park in the parking lot at the end of the lane and walk through the “Quiessence” arch. Botanica is located directly on the other side of the arch.
