SUMMARY:Block Printing Card Making Class
DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION\nSaturday October 28th 10:00-12:00pm\nBotanica Ramada\n$40.00 including a set of 8 cards \nIn this two hour class\, students will be printing a set of eight blank notecards by hand. Students will work through the printmaking process by first drawing an image on a block\, then carving into the block to create a relief print. Once these steps are complete\, students will use their block to print a set of eight blank kraft paper notecards by hand. Students will leave with their very own set of notecards as well as their hand-carved printing block. The cards measure 4.25” x 5.5” and students will have the choice of printing with either white or black ink. If time permits\, students may complete a second design on the back of their block. \nTickets are available NOW!!! Class size is small\, Limited space avaialble. \nFAQs \nWhere will this class be located?\nLocated at the end of the Grove under the Ramada just at the end of the lane. \nAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?\nAll Ages welcome\, although the agenda is geared for adults \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?\nThe Farm has parking at the end of the lane or across 32nd street. \nWhat can I bring into the event?\nPlease wear shoes for walking\, Clothing appropriate for outdoor weather\, Insect repelant is recommended as the event will be outdoors. Please no outside food or beverages as The Farm has restaurants on property. Water bottles\, OK.
