This class is free\, but donations are encouraged. \n–Silent Meditative Walk\n8:15 am – 9:15 am\n–Gentle Flow & Core\n9:15 am – 10:15 am \n**About Bridal Body Yoga** \nThe Farm is the perfect landscape for walking into ‘Stillness’ of the mind. Alicia will begin with a centering/grounding Pranayama (breathing) technique to help bring you into the present moment. Bring your yoga mat. The theme for this class will be: Yoga is a Union\, Marriage is a Union! \nThis class starts sitting or laying. Next moving into gentle yoga. Then follow Alicia as our group walks in meditation\, step by step\, amongst The Farm’s serene landscape. Class ends with a laying down Savasana. \nTotal walking time approximately 30 minutes. \nCommunicate with Alicia before or during class if you have any injuries or any other concerns pertinent to the yoga practice. \nPlease arrive at least 10 minutes early for class. Settle in\, turn off your cell phone\, be mindful of those who are already quiet on their mat. Please sign the waiver and place your yoga gift in Alicia’s donation box. Suggestion donation is $10. \n**Props for Healing Motion Yoga** \nOutdoor Yoga Mat \nOptional: bring a yoga block\, strap and a large towel. We will use all the props but if you don’t bring them you can still participate. \n**About Healing Motion Yoga** \nAlicia will guide you through a breath (pranayama) focused yoga class. Life in prison. \nA one-act play\, “29 Years For 13 Seconds” chronicles the life of Webster who served 29 years in prison for a 13-second crime he witnessed as a teenager. Because he refused to cooperate with the district attorney (honoring the “no-snitching code”)\, he was given a life sentence. The play\, however\, is less about his time in prison\, and is mostly a snapshot of his belief that prisons are filled with “good kids” whose lives are shaped by good parents who\, unfortunately\, make and model bad choices. \nFrom bad choices that have “torpedoed” his life to all his failed efforts at beginning again\, “29-Years For 13-Seconds” opens with present-day Duke (Webster’s street name) seated in a one-room studio acknowledging “while Jesus saves in the eternity\, prison saved me in the meantime.” The angst of the 50-year old formerly incarcerated man sharing a community bathroom with 16 other people who evidently don’t know you’re supposed to “pee inside the toilet” is palpable in the performance of Billy “Issim Dark” Ramsey\, Jr. as “Duke.” Ramsey’s artistic interpretation of Webster’s journey is arresting\, especially when paired with his partner-in-creativity Iris Huey who brilliantly moves between the six distinct female characters she plays. \nFor more information on the show\, visit www.unshackledproductions.com or email alexusrhone@gmail.com.

Lead grower\, Billy Anthony\, will tour and educate the pop-up guests on all of the unique and seasonal varietals that Soil & Seed Garden is currently growing. An official timeline of events is still to come\, so check back for workshop and tour times! \n \nAt Arbor Day Weekend at The Farm there will be Farm tours\, games\, and workshop opportunities provided for guests of all ages. \nSeveral partners of the Gather and Grow initiative at The Farm at South Mountain\, including Stern Produce\, Sun Produce Cooperate\, Trees Matter\, Audubon Society\, and Water Shed Management\, will be on-site to provide educational opportunities and workshops to the visiting members of the community. \nPlease come by to share “Arbor Day Weekend” with the staff and friends of The Farm at South Mountain. The Farm’s breakfast and lunch restaurants will be open for regular business hours to grab a bite to eat before or after! \n  \nReminders: \nPlease park in the dirt parking lot on 32nd Street across from The Farm.
